Asian Paralympic Cup badminton

BANGALORE: The second Asian Paralympic Cup badminton championship for the physically challenged will be held here from December 9 to 15.

The event will be held under the auspices of the Badminton Sports Association of India for Challenged in association with the Paralympic Committee of India.

The tournament is open to both men and women and includes both team and individual events.

Besides Indian players, participants from 18 countries — Afghanistan, Bangladesh, China, Chinese Taipei (Taiwan), Hong Kong, Japan, Iraq, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia — have sent their entries.
