Tvm keeps title

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Host Thiruvananthapuram, with a tally of 65 points, retained the overall championship in the 13th State road cycling championships, which concluded here on Thursday.

Kottayam was placed second with 21 points. Thiruvananthapuram once again dominated the show as it finished with three of the four gold medals decided on the second day of the two-day event.

The results: Mass start: Men: 1. Sagarmai Bishnoi (Ktm), 2. Afilash Mohan (Alp), 3. Mahantash N. Kapratti (Ktym). Boys: U-19: 1. V. Vishnu (Tvm), 2. A.P. Nideesh (Tvm), 3. M.S. Nideesh (Mlp).

Women: 1. B.R. Reshmi (Tvm), 2. Mable Antony (Tvm), 3. P.D. Karthikamol (Ktm). Girls: U-19: 1. V. Deepa Chandran (Tvm), 2. Vinaya Vijayan (Tvm), 3. M.S. Anjana (Klm).
