Krishna Kiriti, Nikhat get the pride of place

HYDERABAD: M. Krishna Kiriti of Postal and Nikhat Banu of Gujarati Seva Mandal were given the top seedings in men’s and women’s singles respectively in the eighth AWASA Anantha Narayana Reddy and Rameshwaramma Memorial State-ranking table tennis tournament starting from October 3. Nikhat Banu will be felicitated during the event for her consistent performances at the national level.

Football tournament

Abbas Union Football Club will organise Hero Honda cash prize tournament from October 3 to 6 at Maidan-e-gadeer (Dahrul-ul-Shifa) with 14 teams in the fray including foreign students’ outfits from Sudan, Yemen and Afghanistan.
