Peace returns to Chintalbasti

HYDERABAD: Chintalbasti locality in Saifabad police station area remained peaceful on Wednesday, a day after two groups clashed resulting in knife injuries to two persons and bruises to several others.

Additional forces, including Rapid Action Force and Task Force teams, were deployed in the area. Special pickets were also posted at sensitive places. Though not much headway was made in the first meeting of two groups by the peace committee at a school in AC Guards, the two warring groups agreed to bury the hatchet during the evening meeting.
