Woman found murdered in Rajendranagar

Staff Reporter

HYDERABAD: K. Mallamma, 25, a labourer, was found murdered at a secluded place behind Upparpally toddy compound in Rajendranagar on Wednesday. The killers smashed her head and legs with a boulder.

They took away the silver anklets she wore but her gold necklace, earrings and bangles were intact. Police raised doubts if the accused stole the anklets only to lead them to believe it was a murder for gain. The victim hailed from Devarakabra village of Mahbubnagar. She got married to Narsimha of the same area. They came to city a year agoand were working as labourers. A week ago, Mallamma came to her brother Shankar’s house in Upparpally. She stepped out of the house on Tuesday evening and was found murdered the next morning.
