HYDERABAD: One-way traffic movement would be enforced in some routes of the city from 8 a.m. on Thursday in view of the Id-ul-Fitr (Ramzan) prayers to be offered at Mir Alam tank Idgah and Secunderabad Idgah.

Vehicles proceeding to Idgah at Mir Alam tank would be allowed to ply via Puranapool and Bahadurpura police station from 8 a.m. to 11.30 a.m.

No vehicle would be allowed to proceed from Idgah towards Puranapool during this time, the traffic police said.

Bicycles and rickshaws should be parked at the space earmarked for them and they would not be allowed to go towards Idgah from Idgah crossroads. All vehicles coming from Shivarampally to Bahadurpura would be diverted at Danamma Huts ‘T’ junction towards Aliabad till entire congregation disperses from Idgah.

Soon after the prayers, all fast moving vehicles from Puranapool side would be diverted towards Aliabad via Tadbun road and Boys Town School.
