Under-14 cricket trials

THIRUVALLA: The trials to select the Pathanamthitta District Cricket Association under-14 cricket team will be held at the Marthoma College Ground, Thiruvalla, at 9 a.m. on October 4 and at the Municipal Stadium, Pathanamthitta, at 12.30 p.m. on October 5. “We had earlier announced that the trials would be for the under-13 age group but we got a circular from the KCA (Kerala Cricket Association) today saying that tThe BCCI has brought in a new under-14 category. The under-13 age group has been removed,” said the PDCA secretary Sunil Koshy George on Wednesday evening.Interested players, born on or after September 1, 1994 may report to Koshy George with proof of age.
