Siemens Energy secures Vadinar Power order

BANGALORE: Siemens Energy has secured an order from Vadinar Power Company, a fully owned subsidiary of Essar Oil, for the supply of four steam turbine generators. The turbines and generators will be installed in a cogeneration plant in Vadinar, Gujarat. The order is worth about 40 million euro. A company release said that the turbines would be sourced from the Czech Republic and generators from Germany. — Special Correspondent
