VISAKHAPATNAM: There is palpable tension in the agency area on the eve of the proposed public hearing on bauxite mining at Chintapalle on Friday. The district committee of Girijana Sangham has conveyed its objection to the hearing submitting as many as 1,605 memoranda with about 6,000 signatures to the A .P.
