Chief Minister to visit Gadag on Saturday

GADAG: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa will tour Gadag district on October 4, according to a release.

He will arrive at Gadag at 10.45 a.m. on Saturday, and inaugurate the new Zilla Dalita Bhavan building.

Mr. Yeddurappa will also participate in a mass marriage ceremony that has been organised by Minister for Health and Family Welfare and district-in-charge B. Sriramulu in Gadag at 12.45 p.m.

The Chief Minister will then fly to Holemannur village in Ron taluk to meet those who have been displaced owing to frequent floods in the area.

The Chief Minister will lay foundation stone for work on permanent shifting of the people of the Holemannur village.

Mr. Yeddyurappa will then leave for Bangalore by helicopter at 4 p.m., the release said.
