KOCHI: Mammootty fans were disappointed when exhibitors in the city refused to screen his latest film Maya Bazar on Wednesday, as part of the ongoing feud between the Film Exhibitors’ Federation and Producers’ Association. But fans travelled all the way to Tripunitura and Aluva to watch their favourite star on screen despite the exhibitors affiliated to the federation sticking to their earlier stance that the movie would not be screened in nearly 47 ‘A’ class centres . The row reached its peak on Monday when the federation decided not to release Maya Bazar and Mohanlal’s Kurukshetra in protest against the move by producers to release the movies in maximum centres .
