Yeddyurappa extends greetings

BANGALORE: Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa has extended his greetings on the occasion of Ramzan to members of the Muslim community in the State, even as he has asked the public to exercise caution and maintain peace and harmony.

A press release from the Chief Minister’s secretariat has said that the State Police have been directed to step up patrolling and security measures so as not to give room for any untoward incident.

The Chief Minister has wished that festival would bring peace and prosperity to all the Muslim brothers and sisters of the State.
