Dasara wrestling begins
MYSORE: The annual Dasara wrestling competitions got underway at the D. Devraj Urs mutlti-purpose stadium here on Tuesday. The meet will witness the traditional ‘Nada Kusti’ bouts which attracts wrestlers from all over the State.
A National and State-level tournament for men and women will be held from October 3 to 6 at the same venue. Wrestlers from Biwani, Indore, Delhi, Sports Hostel (Dharwad), Mysore, Belgaum, Maharashtra and Railways will be seen in action.
Attractive cash prizes and a silver maze will be given to the winners.
