Mount Carmel moves up

MANNANAM: Mount Carmel HSS (Kottayam) and St. Thomas HSS (Pala) advanced into the second round of the sixth Ephreme’s Trophy all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament at the St. Ephreme’s basketball stadium, here on Tuesday.

The results: Boys: St. Thomas HSS, Pala 40 (Dileep 16, P.S. Deepak 10) bt St. Ephreme’s HSS, Pala 31( A.J. Jebin 13).

St. Joseph HSS, Pulicunnu 36 (Nithin 10) bt KEHSS, Mannanam 10.
