Chandigarh Lions wins

HYDERABAD: Chandigarh Lions recorded a six-wicket win over Chennai Superstars in the final of the Indian Cricket League Twenty-20 domestic championship at Lahari Resorts near here on Tuesday.

Earlier, Ganapathi Vignesh (48, 32 balls, 6x4, 2x6) and Hemang Badani (51) helped Chennai outfit put up a challenging score. Gaurav Gupta was named ‘man of the match’.

The scores: Chennai Superstars 136 for eight in 20 overs (G. Vignesh 48, Hemang Badani 51) lost to Chandigarh Lions 138 for four in 19.1 overs (Dinesh Mongia 61, Gaurav Gupta 43 not out ).
