Akhil sparkles
KOCHI: Ernakulam’s leg-spinner Akhil came up with an allround performance against Thrissur in the Central Zone under-19 inter-district cricket championship at the Tripunithura Palace Oval on Tuesday.
Akhil took four wickets without conceding a run in 3.3 overs as Ernakulam bowled out Thrissur for a paltry 56 in the first innings. He picked up two wickets a little later which left Thrissur tottering at 12 for four in its second innings and also scored 42 off 48 balls.
