Sixth round on October 4

Chennai: The sixth and final round of the 11th edition of the JK Tyre National Racing Championship will get underway at the Madras Motor Race Track in Irrungattukottai, on October 4 and 5.

Gaurav Dalal of Team Red Rooster Racing is currently in the lead with 58 points, while his teammate Sarosh Hataria is in the third position in the championship standings with 36 points. Saahil Shelar of Team Speed NK Racing, with 40 points, is second.

Team Red Rooster leads in the Formula Rolon class team championship standings, having accumulated 101 points. In second and third places are Team Speed NK Racing and Team Prime Racing with 88 and 55 points respectively.

The finals of the endurance race will be held on October 4, which will be followed by one race each in the ‘Group A’ super bike series, Race Star and Super Saloon cars classes.

The formula car races and the ‘Group A’ bike race will take place on October 5. There will also be an additional race in the Formula Rolon class to make up for the Round 3 races which were postponed because of rain.
