Governor’s greetings

BANGALORE: Governor Rameshwar Thakur has sent his Id-ul-Fitr greetings to the people of the State. “On the auspicious occasion of Id-ul-Fitr, I heartily extend my warm greetings to the people of Karnataka in general and to my Muslim brethren in particular,” he said in a message. “On this happy occasion marking the end of the month-long Ramzan fasting and of the revelation of the Holy Quran, let us rededicate ourselves to our cherished goals of peace, amity, harmony and charity, Prophet Mohammad set for mankind and imbibe the essence of His tenets for the lasting welfare of humanity”, he said.
