Seminar on adoption

KRISHNAGIRI: A seminar was organised by the District Social Welfare Department along with the Madras Social Service Guild on adoption here on Monday.
S. Nagarajan, District Collector In charge, inaugurated the seminar at the Collectorate.
Revathy, Social Welfare board member, Hosur, spoke on psychology of the adopted children.
V. Venkatraman, Social Welfare Officer, spoke about the role of CWC in adoption.
Stalin Sydney from Ananda Ashram, Hosur, spoke about the treatment of adopted children at various centres of NGOs in the state. He insisted that every adopted child should be given a good education and make them feel proud.
More than 50 members from various NGOs and government officials participated in the seminar.
R. Bhuvaneswari welcomed the gathering. Kamala, Extension Officer, Hosur, proposed a vote of thanks.
