Two sisters killed

VILLUPURAM: Two sisters E. Rajaveni (20) and E. Rajeswari (18) of Pudupalayam in Thirukkoilur were killed when a harvesting equipment on which they were travelling fell on its side on Monday.

The police said when the tractor-drawn machinery was crossing a stream at Thagarai near Chinna Salem, it tumbled on a rock and fell on its side. Four farm workers who were travelling with the sisters sustained minor injuries.
