Tailor kills wife

Tiruvannamalai: Selvam (45), a tailor, killed his wife Lakshmi (40) in Tiruvannamalai on Monday.

Parents of three children, the two often used to fight. In a quarrel that ensued on Monday, Selvam struck Lakshmi with a knife and grievously injured her. Lakshmi was taken to the Government Hospital, where she succumbed. The police arrested Selvam.
