MYSORE: City Police Commissioner S. Parashivamurthy on Monday said three persons, who had been booked under Terrorist and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act (TADA) in 1992, had been taken into preventive custody here. Responding to questions on reports about the arrest of six terror suspects, at a press conference here, the commissioner said: “They are not terror suspects. We have taken into custody three persons who had been booked under TADA in the past. The action was taken to extract information. It has nothing to do with the security for Dasara festivities.” He clarified that no arms or explosives had been recovered from these persons.
