Prizes for Gita chanting competition

PUDUCHERRY: Chinmaya Mission, Pondicherry conducted a Gita chanting competition for various schools from August 28 to September 9.

Around 1,500 students from various schools from LKG to Standard X took part in the competition.

According to a press release, Sankara Vidyalaya School won the rolling shield for this year for the maximum number of participants which was 277 students.

The best acharya awards were bagged by Srinivasan of St. Patrick School, Santhosh of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kalapet and Subbrayan of Amalorpavam School.
