Malayalee Associations celebrate Onam

Chennai: The Confederation of Tamil Nadu Malayalee Associations celebrated Onam by organising Avanipoovarangu on Saturday and Sunday. Cultural programmes were organised.

Actor Suraj Venjarmoodu performed a skit.

A lifestyle exhibition and food carnival were conducted. Kerala Home Minister Kodiyeri Balakrishnan and Tamil Nadu Electricity Minister Arcot N.Veeraswami participated in the celebration.

Playback singer K.J. Yesudas inaugurated the Onam festival, said a release.
