Fee exemption sought for poor students

HYDERABAD: The AP State Teachers’ Union has appealed to the government to exempt students belonging to SC, ST and BC communities from payment of SSC examination fee. The union said GO 7 issued 27 years back, stipulating Rs.12,000 as the annual income of parents, was no longer relevant in view of the revised figure of Rs.18,000. –Special Correspondent
