NEW DELHI: Double world record holder Ronjan Sodhi was not at his best and finished eighth with a 136 out of 150 in double trap in the World Cup Finals in Minsk, Belarus, on Saturday. Ronjan shot a series of 48, 47 and 41 in missing the final by two points. After superb performance in the first two rounds, Ronjan fell below par in the third round that possibly cost him a medal. Hakan Dahlby of Sweden wiped out the disappointment of finishing 11th in the Beijing Olympics by capturing the gold with a 191 out of 200. The Swede led with a 144 in the preliminary phase and eventually won the gold with a three-point margin. The results: 1. Hakan Dahlby (Swe) 191 (144); 2. Hu Binyuan (Chn) 188 (23) 140; 3. Vasily Mosin (Rus) 188 (22) 143; 8. Ronjan Sodhi 136.
