Advani seeks Muslim support

Moradabad: Senior BJP leader L.K. Advani on Saturday reacted sharply to the Mehrauli blast in Delhi, accusing the UPA government of being unable to tackle terrorism, and underlining the need for strong anti-terror laws.

“This government cannot tackle terrorism,” he said as he was informed about the blast while speaking at a party rally here.

Raising the issue of building a Ram temple at Ayodhya, he said, “I was arrested during my last yatra from Somnath to Ayodhya. Till I reach Ayodhya again and build a Ram temple there I will not be satisfied.”

“It would be nice if our Muslim brothers also support us. If they take back the case and state that the matter is needlessly pending for years...this is the Ram Janambhoomi (birth place of Lord Ram) and a temple should be built here.” — PTI
