SMV HSS posts win
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: SMV HSS posted an easy 41-run win over PTM HSS (Balaramapuram) in the opening match of the TDCA under-16 inter-School cricket tournament at the Medical College ground, here on Saturday.
In another match, Nazareth Home HSS defeated Christ Nagar HSS by three wickets.
The scores: SMV HSS 106 in 26.2 overs (S. Jithin three for 16, Anand three for 22) bt PTM HSS 65 in 13.overs (Akhil Raj three for five, K. Varun three for 22); Christ Nagar HSS 107 in 25.5 overs (M. Ebabun four for 11) lost to Nazareth Home HSS 109 for seven in 17.5 overs (Bipin 65 n.o.)
