Gajendra shines

JAIPUR: Rookie left-arm spinner Gajendra Singh claimed five wickets to deny Australia good batting practice in its first warm-up match against the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium here on Saturday.

Gajendra helped RCA bundle out the Australians for only 218 runs in 77.1 overs on the first day of the two-day warm-up match. RCA was 38 for two at stumps.

The scores: Australia 218 in 77.2 overs (Simon Katich 73, Gajendra Singh five for 58) vs RCA 38 for two in 11 overs. — Sports Reporter
