Camps and seminar conclude

Bangalore: It was time for good-byes at the National Cricket Academy here as three camps and a seminar concluded on Friday. The two-month long under-19 camp ended after a practice game though the 25 players will have a formal session on Saturday morning.

The Indian women’s cricket team captain Mithali Raj along with Rumeli Dhar and Karuna Jain also finished their training stint at the academy.

Meanwhile, the pace bowlers’ revival camp that featured L. Balaji, Manpreet Gony and others concluded.

Later in the evening, the umpires’ seminar that featured more than 90 candidates also wound up.

The NCA is now gearing up for the Indian team’s camp that will be held here next week.
