‘Himalayan’ brand natural mineral water launched

HYDERABAD: Mount Everest Mineral Water Ltd, a Tata enterprise, on Friday launched the new Himalayan brand mineral water in the city.

Pradeep Poddar, MD and CEO of the company told a press conference later that only 10 per cent of the Rs.2, 000-crore bottled water market was currently catered to by the natural mineral water segment. He said the water bottled by Himalayan “is untouched and unprocessed” and sourced from the underground aquifer located in the Shivalik range of Himalayas, about 130 metres below the earth’s surface.
