Delhi qualifies for super league

NEW DELHI: Delhi scored its third successive win, a 6-1 triumph over Bihar, in Cluster VII to move into the quarterfinal league of the 31st National sub-junior football championship at Mahilpur, Punjab.

Michael Chongthu (3), Supunya Devavrat (2) and captain Kislay Sajwan scored the goals for Delhi.

Bihard converted a penalty to reduce the margin.

Delhi will start its campaign in the next stage with a match against host Punjab.

Mizoram and Meghalaya are the other teams in the group.
