Lecturer killed in accident

CHENNAI: A lecturer of Anna University was killed in a road accident here on Thursday.

Police said Prema Rajeshwari (39) of Velachery working in the Computer Science Department was riding a moped when a private bus knocked her down on the Sardar Patel Road. Though the victim was wearing a helmet, she suffered a head injury and died after admission to Royapettah Government Hospital.
