Appeal for peace

KOLAR: Deputy Commissioner H.R. Srinivas underlined the need for maintaining peace and communal amity. He was addressing a peace committee meeting here on Wednesday. The meeting was convened in the wake of a scheduled rally by various Dalit and Left outfits to protest against the attacks on Christian prayer halls in different parts of the State. — Staff Correspondent
