HYDERABAD: Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has decided to compile the promises being made by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu at various public meetings and also come out with a white paper on the budget required to fulfil these promises. Ridiculing the spate of promises being made by the TDP chief at every meeting, Commercial Taxes Minister Konathala Ramakrishna and others at a press conference on Wednesday, said they were in the process of preparing a white paper, which would show the budget required for the promises to be fulfilled. “The country’s budget will not be sufficient to fulfil these promises,” he remarked. People cautionedHe cautioned people against being carried away by the promises made by Mr. Naidu, which he claimed, were impossible to be fulfilled. He said it was ridiculous on the part of the Telugu Desam chief to say that he would strive to introduce prohibition in a phased manner if people wanted it. Mr. Ramakrishna also mocked at the decision of the TDP to sell toddy through Civil Supplies Department if it came back to power. He said it was nothing but deceiving toddy tappers.
