Supported by Mangaldeep Incense Sticks, a division of ITC, the concert will be held at Chowdiah Memorial Hall. Pankaj Udhas will regale Bangaloreans with his soulful singing on October 5 at the same venue at 6.30 p.m. to raise funds for Foundation for Restoring Human Dignity (FORHD). The foundation is involved in rehabilitating women and children in distress, especially those belonging to the family of prisoners.

Former Director-General of Police L. Revannasiddaiah said, “FORHD works for prisoner reformation by arranging funds for parole in needy cases, and adopting a deserving school and trying to wean children away from labour and ensuring they get a good education.

All these activities are funded by such charity shows.”
