First focus of The Hindu Initiative on Wellness, the heart

CHENNAI: The Hindu will organise a series of wellness programmes beginning Friday for the benefit of its readers.

The first event under The Hindu Initiative on Wellness is titled ‘Know your heart.’

The interactive session, which will include specialists, will be led by veteran cardiologist S. Thanikachalam.

The following specialists will also be on the panel: S. Bashi, clinical psychiatrist; G. Sivaraman, Siddha specialist, D. Sathyanath, yoga therapist, and N. Venkatesh, physiotherapist.

The team of specialists will make a presentation on different aspects about ‘heart health’ in the interactive session.

The event will be held at Kumararajah Muthaiah Hall, Chettinad Vidyashram School, MRC Nagar, R.A. Puram at 6 p.m.
