Mongia shines

HYDERABAD: A fine knock by Dinesh Mongia (72) helped Chandigarh Lions record a six-wicket win over Mumbai Champs in the ICL Domestic Twenty20 cricket championship at the Lahari Resorts, near here on Tuesday.

In another match, Royal Bengal Tigers scored a 72-run win over Ahmedabad Rockets late in the evening.

The scores:

Mumbai Champs 135 for seven in 20 overs (Robin Morris 46) lost to Chandigarh Lions 141 for four in 17.3 overs (Dinesh Mongia 72, Burkul three for 22).

Royal Bengal Tigers 193 for four in 20 overs (Rajiv Kumar 79, Abhishek Jhujhunwala 64) bt Ahmedabad Rockets 121 in 18.2 overs.
