Release of books to mark Ramamurti’s birth centenary

CHENNAI: Three books and a souvenir will be released on September 23 to mark the birth centenary of Communist leader and freedom fighter P. Ramamurti, CITU general secretary A. Soundararajan said on Monday.

General secretary Prakash Karat will release the souvenir. The books are P. Ramamurti’s recollections on the trade union movement, his book on the role of Communists in the freedom struggle and a biography of the leader.
