Load-shedding in Kancheepuram, Thiruvallur districts

CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced a daily load-shedding schedule in Kancheepuram and Thiruvallur districts, which come under the Chengalpattu Electricity Distribution Circle from Monday.

According to the schedule, there would be load shedding in the following areas from Noon to 3 p.m., 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. and from 3 a.m. to 4 a.m.: Thiruporur, Alathur, Thirukazhukundram, Mamallapuram, Mahindra City, Bukkathurai and Vaiyavur in Kancheepuram district and Kadambathur, Kilanur and surrounding areas in Thiruvallur district.

4 a.m. to 5 a.m., 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Mambakkam, Pudupakkam, Kelambakkam, Cheyyur, Chunampedu, Chengalpattu (Anna Nagar and Vedachala Nagar) areas.

5 a.m. to 6 a.m., 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Perambakkam and Thiruninravur areas.

6 a.m. to 7 a.m., 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. to 11 p.m.: Chengalpattu, Salavakkam, Sriperumbudur and Kunnavakkam.

6 a.m. to 9 a.m., 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. to Midnight: Acharapakkam, Maduranthakam and Iruganttukottai. 9 a.m. to noon. 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Midnight to 1 a.m.: Maraimalainagar, Guduvanchery, Oragdam, Sriperumbudur and SIPCOT. 9 a.m. to noon, 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. and 1 a.m. to 2 a.m.: Padappai and Thirumizhisai areas.
