Rajan brothers do well
CHENNAI: Brothers Sudanand Rajan and Prithveen Rajan from ‘Team WSRF with Leela’ took the honours in the endurance race on the opening day of Round 5 JK Tyre National racing championship at the Madras Motor Racing Track, Irrungattukottai near here on Saturday.
They sealed the win by completing 29 laps in 1 hour, 1 minute and 27 seconds.
Team Rams Racing’s Karthick Shankar and Naren Shankar finished second in 1 hour, 2 minutes and 5 seconds. Rayomand Banajee and Steve Hodge from Team Meco Racing finished third.
In the qualifying round of the Formula LGB Swift category, Saran Vikram took the pole with the fastest lap timing of 01:56:616.
In the Race Star Car class, Mazdayar Vatcha once again clinched the pole followed by Vir Raina and M.S.Ravindra.
