Encouraging young entrepreneurs

COIMBATORE: A bunch of young entrepreneurs who have captured headlines with their enterprise and skill were in Coimbatore recently to interact with students who are part of the Covai User Group (CUG).

Experiences

Suhas Gopinath, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and president of Global Inc, Sarath Babu, CEO and Founder of Food King, N.S.Parthasarathy, Co-founder and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of MindTree (an IT company) and Sunita Singh, Senior Director and Founding Member of National Entrepreneurship Network were the successful entrepreneurs present. They addressed a gathering of over 1,200 students and shared their experiences with them.

‘The Magic of Thinking Big’

The event called ‘The Magic of Thinking Big’ was organised by the CUG along with Students Software Solutions (SSS).

The event was aimed at encouraging the youth who wanted to become entrepreneurs and become successful in their careers, said Anmol Vij, founder of CUG and SSS.

S.Subramaniam, principal of Sri Krishna College of Engineering and Technology, Murali Mohan, Senior Manager, Indian Overseas Bank, and Prabhu Chari, Human Resoruces, CTS, participated.

Awards

Awards were distributed to the members of CUG for their achievements in various activities.
