Stalin inspects Kalaignar Arivalayam in Tiruchi

Making an assessment: Local Administration Minister M.K. Stalin along with Transport Minister K.N. Nehru and Forest Minister N. Selvaraj inspecting the Kalaignar Arivalayam in Tiruchi.

TIRUCHI: Local Administration Minister and DMK deputy general secretary M.K. Stalin on Friday inspected the Kalaignar Arivalayam, the district party office, which is to be opened by Chief Minister M. Karunanidhi here on Sunday.

Mr. Stalin, who arrived here this afternoon, inspected the arrangements being made for the opening ceremony of the party office and the party awards distribution function to be held on Sunday evening at the nearby St. Joseph’s College grounds.

In a brief chat with media persons, Mr. Stalin expressed satisfaction over the arrangements and happiness over the way the party office has been built.

The printing unit of Murasoli, the party organ, was also being accommodated at the office complex, he said.

Transport Minister and DMK district secretary K.N. Nehru, Forest Minister N. Selvaraj and MLAs accompanied Mr. Stalin.
