Xavier Marshall, Tonito Willett test positive
St. John’s: West Indies cricket was rocked on Thursday following the sensational revelation that opener Xavier Marshall and another player, Tonito Willett, have tested positive for banned drugs.
Both the players were part of the 32 probables from which the Stanford Superstars squad would be picked to play England in the $ 20 million Stanford 20/20 for 20 on November 1.
Chairman of the Caribbean Regional Anti-Doping Organisation (RADO) Dr. Adrian Lorde told Midweek Nation that two players have flunked dope test and Cricinfo quoted West Indies Cricket Board CEO Donald Peters identifying them as Marshall and Willett. — PTI
