CHENNAI: Little Rock Indian School (Karnataka) defeated St. John’s International School (Chennai) 13-8 in a boys’ under-19 quarterfinal match of the CBSE South Zone handball tournament at Vels Vidyashram here on Thursday.

Other results (quarterfinals): Boys U-19: TKM Centenary Public School (Ker) bt Ideal Public School (Ker) 15-0; Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram (Che) bt Madagondpalli Model School 6-1; Navy Children (Vizag) bt Shrishti Vidyalaya (Vellore) 12-4.

U-14: Navy Children (Vizag) bt Bhavan’s Rajaji Vidyashram (Che) 15-9; Little Rock Indian School (Kar) bt Madagondapalli Model 7-2; BEL (Ban) bt Kolaperumal Chetty VSSS (Che) 10-5; Citizen’s Public School (Kar) bt Gnana Bharathi Eng. Medium School (AP) 8-6.
