Payyannur to meet MA in final

UZHAVOOR: Payyannur College (Payyannur) will meet MA College (Kothamangalam) in the final of the Bishop Tharyil memorial inter-collegiate volleyball tournament.

In the semifinals, Payyannur College was stretched to the limit by SH Thevera. Payyannur College won the exciting contest held at the St. Stephen’s College court 25-27, 26-24, 25-22, 24-26, 16-14.

MA College, Kothamangalam upset defending champion St. George College, Aruvithura 25-18, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21 in the other semifinal. — Principal Correspondent
