Indian youth volleyball team
VIJAYAWADA: The Volleyball Federation of India (VFI) has announced the Indian team to take part in the seventh Asian youth (boys) championship to be held in Colombo from October 14 to 22, the VFI’s Associate Secretary, A. Ramana Rao, said.
The team: Attackers: Gurjant Singh (Haryana), L.D. Ravikumar (Karnataka), Herminderpal Singh (Punjab), T. Naresh (TN); Blockers: Hemender Singh (Rajasthan), G.R. Vaishnav (TN) Navajit Singh (Punjab); Universals: Srikapil, N. Jagadish; Setters: Ranjeeth Singh (Punjab), Shushan Kumar (Haryana); Libero: Vinod Negi (Haryana).
