NTPC accounts for 28.5% of total power

NEW DELHI: NTPC Chairman and Managing Director R.S. Sharma on Wednesday said the company accounted for 28.51 per cent of the country’s total power generation during 2007-2008. Addressing the 32nd annual general body meeting of the company, he said NTPC had been performing with efficiency.

“During 2007-08, the company crossed some highly impressive markers. The gross revenue crossed the Rs.400 billion mark.”
