Sridhar shines

VISAKHAPATNAM: K. Sridhar scored a half-century as Vizianagaram took a first-innings lead over Srikakulam on the first day of the two-day round-robin match of the ACA under-14 inter-district tournament at Kakinada on Tuesday.

The scores: Srikakulam 102 in 41.2 overs (G. Siva Shankar three for 24, R. Mohan three for 29) vs. Vizianagaram 117 for seven in 49 overs (K. Sridhar 53, P. Dinesh three for 25).

East Godavari 132 in 77.1 overs (M. Raviteja 42, Bapi Behera three for 11) vs. Visakhapatnam 53 for no loss.
