Mithali, Jaya rested from Challengers

Ahmedabad: India captain Mithali Raj (in pic) and out-of-form opener Jaya Sharma were “rested” from the second edition of the women’s Challengers cricket tournament to be held at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Motera here from September 21 to 24. In Mithali’s absence, Kolkata pacer Jhulan Goswami will lead the India Senior side. — PTI
